    The Fresh Creamsicle

Not sure if you've noticed, but oranges are falling from the sky. Oh, you haven't noticed? That's probably because you're unconscious from one clobbering your head.

So yeah, oranges are in season. Trees are pooping citrus fruit quicker than a white guy hitting the bathroom after eating spicy curry.

    Too much?

And with no segue, one thing I'll never get sick of is a creamsicle. Are you feeling me on this?

Here's my recipe for a Fresh Creamsicle Cocktail:

    Ingredients:

-1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka (I realize I've been using a lot of vanilla vodka lately...I have no excuse. I likey.)

    -1 oz fresh squeezed OJ

    -splash of cream

    -1/2 oz simple syrup

Pretty simple schtuff. Just add all the ingredients to a pint glass packed with ice and then shake and strain into a martini glass. OR, strain the cocktail into another glass filled with ice if you prefer your cocktails on the rocks. Garnish with an orange wedge and you got yourself a grown-up creamsicle. Zummy!

Vitamin C, dairy and vegetables (isn't vodka made from potatoes?)! This could definitely pass as a healthy drink! Ha, suckas!

Claire: haha! Booze on cereal is always a breakfast of champions. I particularly enjoy amaretto over oatmeal...yes, I speak from experience.
